As the District Delegate I want to remind you that the Council will be meeting in Chicago April 21 – 26, 2013. The Council of Legislation, sometimes referred to as Rotary’s Parliament, meets every three years. Each of Rotary’s 532 Districts is represented by a single delegate. As a Past District Governor I was selected to serve and PDG Jim McCloud is my alternate should I not be able to attend.

Saturday April 20th, 2013 Past International President Ray Klinginsmith will host the highest bidder, along with a person of his or her choice, on a tour of the Council on Legislation chamber in Chicago, and Rotary International headquarters in Evanston, IL. The Rotary Board of Directors will be in a work session preparing for the opening of the Council the following day.
