The Rotary Clubs of District 6080 are seeking young business and professional men and women between and including the ages of 25 and 40 to participate in a month long educational and cultural exchange. Applicants must be personable, articulate, cooperative, exemplary in their work, and enthusiastic about their vocation while seeking to gain a maximum educational value from the program. The Group Study Exchange program gives young adults the chance to enrich themselves and the chance to promote international goodwill throughout the global community. During times of conflict, world peace and understanding are more important than ever. Efforts to encourage the study of foreign cultures provide opportunities that cannot be measured. In the increasingly global workplace, cultural diversity is the norm, and international understanding is critical to success. The Rotary Foundation provides round-trip air between home and host countries. Local Rotarians in the host area provide for meals, lodging and group travel in their district. Each team member is responsible for all personal and incidental expenses incurred before, during and after the study tour.
