A STAR CLUB is one whose contributions to The Rotary Foundation Annual Fund average $100 per capita. (Source: MCR Report from RI Member Access). The Rotary Foundation's goal is for EVERY ROTARIAN to give to the Foundation's Annual Fund EVERY YEAR. To support this goal, District 6080 started the STAR CLUB Designation Program in 2008. Help make District 6080 the brightest constellation in the world of Rotary. Congratulations and Thank you to these STAR CLUBSFor Rotary Year ended June 30, # of clubs awarded: DG Sherry - 2009 - 20 Posted 22-Sep-09 2 Star ClubsBelton-Raymore 1 Star ClubsColumbia Though clubs that meet the goal by June 30 will receive the designation, clubs are encouraged to turn in Annual Fund contributions as they are received, but no later than March 31, so your STAR CLUB can be appropriately recognized at District meetings. STAR CLUBS will also be honored on the District's web site. Every year a Rotary Club can add more stars to their designation. Clubs that continue to show show full support to the TRF Annual Fund year after year will be classified as a 2 STAR CLUB, 3 STAR CLUB, 4 STAR CLUB, 5 STAR CLUB, etc. Rotary District 6080's goal is to have each club be a STAR CLUB every year. What better way is there for all of us to affirm our belief in the incredible programs and projects made possible by The Rotary Foundation. Motivate your Rotary Club to become a STAR CLUB!!!
